Ladies and Gentlemen

I know we all love winter but really…….enough snow!

A busy week. On Monday February 2nd Garfield Dunlop will be holding his economic consultation at the Brooklea Golf Club starting at 9:00 am.

On Tuesday, the Town will hold its second “visioning” session at 6:30 pm at the NSSRC. I understand this will further develop the ideas from the first session. All are welcome.

Wednesday the 4th at 7:00 at the Town will see the Planning Advisory Committee meeting (You May Speak at Discretion of Chair). There will be a couple of interesting items:
1) The developer of the “Pratt Lands” (open area between St. Theresa H.S. and TRW) is bringing forward a draft plan of subdivision. It includes 196 dwelling units including single family and town-homes.
2) The Home Occupation By-law is back. Apparently some wording issues are still unresolved.

On Thursday February 5th at 7:00 pm an important meeting will be held by the Simcoe County District School Board at MSS. The meeting will discuss the declining enrolment at some of our high schools and how the Board should organize its school resources.

And on Friday – get ready for all the Winterfest activities on Saturday and Sunday. Should be the best festival ever.
